The Menon Group has a historic & unwavering commitment to quality. At Menon Alkop, Quality Control is a continuous activity integrating people, communication, process controls, designing, engineering, production and inspection departments. The quality process starts at the very beginning of each production schedule and our QC operations use documented quality systems to control each & every process efficiently. Our Labs are equipped with advanced equipment like CMM, Countergraph, Relation Gages, Leakage testing equipment, and many more.
METALLURGY & METROLOGY LAB
Our state of the art labs are housed in temperature and environment controlled clean rooms & deploy the most advanced & sophisticated equipments in inspection & testing technology calibrated to world standards. The chemical composition of metals, their Purity, & metallurgical characteristics are rigorously checked using a variety of sophisticated processes & equipments like Spectrometer, Microhardness tester, Gravimetric Electroanalyser, Image Analyser, Stress Tester in our Metallurgical & Chemical Labs. We ensure that we use only 99.9 % pure virgin ingots.
ONLINE QUALITY CONTROL
Our online production and inspection departments work hand-in-hand to assure top quality. In-process inspection is performed on parts between operations as required, or as specified by the part's quality plan. Apart from visual inspection Sophisticated equipments are used to assure front-end dimensional control of dies, tooling, and products. Regular metallographic & metrological tests are made to ensure alloys & machined products comply exactly with tight tolerances & with customer's specifications.
RIGOROUS MANUAL INSPECTION
Rigorously documented quality objectives are established through Quality Systems Manual and all products are physically inspected at every stage of production, for conformance on various parameters.
